Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KeySafe mobile app and related services (the "Service"), provided by KeySafe Worldwide Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16420362) with its registered office at 130 Bury New Road, Prestwich, Manchester M25 9NH, United Kingdom ("KeySafe", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1.The Service

KeySafe lets you scan physical keys, keep a catalogue of the keys you own, and match a scanned key against that catalogue. The Service is provided for your personal use in managing your own keys.

2.Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to catalogue or duplicate keys you are not authorised to hold.
• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the Service.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
• Upload malicious content or misuse the scanning or matching features.

4.Subscriptions and billing

Parts of the Service may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your app-store account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5.Your content

You keep ownership of the key images and catalogue data you create ("Your Content"). You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, and sync Your Content so we can provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to store it.

6.Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software except to use the Service as permitted.

7.Matching is not a guarantee

Key scanning and matching are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on device capabilities and scan quality. The Service does not guarantee that a match is correct, and it is not a locksmithing, security, or access-control service. Do not rely on it as your sole means of identifying or securing keys.

8.Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

9.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10.Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. On termination, the rights granted to you end and Your Content may be deleted.

11.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where your local law gives you a right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
